For years following Brett’s passing, loved ones have continued to gather in living rooms to make blankets. Since those small beginnings in 2004, Brett’s Blankets have comforted thousands of children and elderly in the US, Mexico, and eastern Europe. Blankets have been donated to countless beneficiaries, including those supported by Williamson County Children’s Advocacy Center, Helping Hands Home, and Meals on Wheels.
In November 2019, Brett’s Blankets became a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit in the United States. As we continue to embark on this new chapter of Brett’s Blankets, we hope to inspire many more people to join us in making blankets for those who truly need the warm embrace.
