Brett’s Blankets began in 2004 in memory of Brett Hunter Staples, who passed away from SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome) at just 3 months old. The first holiday season after Brett’s passing, family and friends of the Staples family channeled their grief into love, and gathered together to make handmade fleece blankets for those still on earth who needed the warmth and comfort of a blanket.
